Know how to clean your fabric products

Because blinds have a firm, slick surface, dusting them with a microfiber cloth is simple. Close the slats and wipe with a duster from the top down or from one side to the other, then rotate the slats 180 degrees and repeat in the opposite manner to remove dust from both sides of blinds. To remove hard filth and stains in blind curtain, dampen a soft cloth with simple water or a mixture of 25% white vinegar and 75% water, wipe down the front and back of the slats, and then dry with a fresh cloth.

Cleaning curtains is a little more difficult. Vacuum top to bottom with a dust brush attachment to eliminate dust. To remove dirt and stains, sprits the affected areas with a solution of 25% white vinegar and 75% water, a store-bought stain pre-treatment solution, or a solution of one part bleach to four parts water. Allow the solution to sit for a few minutes before washing one or two curtain panels at a time according to the care label and air-drying to avoid shrinkage.

Blinds have a longer lifespan

It is not uncommon for well-maintained blinds to retain their appearance for 15 years or more. The blind curtain are resistant to discoloration and stains due to their synthetic composition, which might be plastic, vinyl, aluminium, or polymer-coated wood. Always they are also more robust and tough than curtains. Fabric curtains, whether cotton, linen, velvet, or silk, are more prone to tearing, staining, and moulding, and they frequently need to be replaced within a decade.
